Exciting Hockey Weekend: Fairbanks Ice Dogs in Marshall

Marshall, MN – The Fairbanks Ice Dogs are heading back to Marshall for an action-packed hockey weekend on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6, 2025, facing off against the Minnesota Wilderness at the Red Baron Arena & Expo.

This special two-game series is the latest chapter in the unique relationship between Marshall and The Fairbanks Ice Dogs. During the 2020-21 NAHL season, the Ice Dogs made Marshall their home ice due to COVID-19 travel restrictions — an experience that created a lasting connection between the team and the community. Fans can expect a full weekend of more than just hockey, concessions, beer garden, merchandise, a business after hours event and skate with the dogs. Tickets are on sale now, and new this year they are offering reserved chairbacks seats, as well as reserved standing bar top, plus general admission seats.

There will also be a Business after hours & skate with the dogs event on Thursday December 4^th from 4pm – 6pm at the Red Baron Arena & Expo. Join us to see all that the Red Baron Arena has to offer for meeting rooms, conferences & expo space as well as an open skate with the Ice Dog players and coaches.
