Who is Tyler George
Tyler George is a retired curler that lives in Duluth, MN. He was part of the 2018 USA men’s Olympic team in PyeongChang, South Korea that won the first ever gold medal for the USA for any discipline of curling. Tyler also won bronze at the 2016 World Men’s Championships and bronze at the 2001 World Junior Men’s Championships, as well as three USA Men’s National Championships (2010, 2015, and 2017). His USA men’s teams have been a part of two Continental Cup winning squads, in 2016 and 2018. Since retiring from competitive curling following the 2018 Olympics, Tyler has worked as an ambassador traveling the USA, working events in tandem with the WCF, and now serves on the WCF Athlete Commission after being elected in 2022. Tyler was hired by NBC as a commentator and analyst for the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games and is continuing in that role with WCTV.
